2025 Fantasy Outlook
A sixth-round pick last spring, Reichard didn't miss a kick until Week 9 (when he fought through a quadriceps injury and missed twice). He went to IR for the following four games and was less impressive once he returned, with four misses on 14 field-goal attempts Weeks 14-18. Reichard was perfect on PATs, however, and went 8-of-11 on tries of 50-plus yards, showing sufficient accuracy and leg strength to stick around in the NFL for a long time. His average of 9.7 fantasy points ranked fifth among kickers with double-digit games played, as Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell produced a strong team and trusted Reichard from long range. Another QB change lies ahead, but Reichard can stay fantasy relevant even if J.J. McCarthy struggles, as long as the Vikings remain competent overall. Should McCarthy prove superior to Sam Darnold, it'd likely put Reichard among the league leaders in kicking volume (and while playing for a dome team). Read Past Outlooks
Glued to sideline in shutout loss
Reichard didn't attempt a field goal in the Vikings' 26-0 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Reichard showed up and handled one kickoff, collected his game check and hopped on the team flight home, as the Vikings mustered zero offense. On the season, Reichard has made 21 of 23 field-goal attempts and all 19 of his extra-point tries. In this horrendous Minnesota offense, Reichard is not a recommended fantasy kicker.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Vikings made Reichard the first kicker selected in the 2024 NFL Draft (sixth round, 203rd overall), though Joshua Karty and Cam Little then came off the board within the next 10 picks. Reichard was a five-year contributor and four-year starter at Alabama, where he converted 84.0 percent of his field-goal attempts and 99.3 percent of PATs. He was even better over his final two seasons -- 86.3 percent on FGs, 100 percent on PATs -- and should now be the favorite in a camp battle with former XFL kicker John Parker Romo. The winner will be attached to a talented offense, albeit one that could be undone by poor QB play if first-round pick J.J. McCarthy either fails to win the starting job or eventually proves unworthy of it.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Leading kicking competition
Reichard was Minnesota's most consistent kicker throughout OTAs and minicamp, according to Alec Lewis of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Per Lewis, Reichard "was everything the Vikings hoped he'd be this spring - and then some." Reichard doesn't have as strong of a leg as John Parker Romo, but the former's consistency has him leading Minnesota's kicking competition heading into training camp. If Reichard continues to impress, the Vikings may not feel the need to bring in additional competition despite the rookie sixth-round draft pick's lack of experience.
