Following a breakout 2022 season where Nwosu piled up 9.5 sacks and landed a three-year, $45 million contract, the veteran linebacker's season was marred by a pectoral injury that ended his season after six games. The 27-year-old has made a full recovery and is set up well to bounce back now that Boye Mafe has blossomed into a proven pass-rusher on the other side of the line. There's some risk that Nwosu's 2022 campaign was his peak, which could lead to Darrell Taylor and second-year LB Derick Hall to eat into his snaps. But it's more likely Nwosu is the real deal and can approach 10 sacks once again.

Nwosu has flashed the potential to be an effective pass rusher with 15 career sacks, but he will have the opportunity to show his overall versatility in new Seattle's newly implemented defensive system under first-year coordinator Clint Hurtt.
