2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hudson appeared in only 12 games last season but still wound up leading all Bengals tight ends in targets (50), catches (39) and receiving yards (352). While the 29-year-old tight end was a nice story in 2023, Hudson had just 199 career receiving yards heading into the season and began the year on Cincinnati’s practice squad before being promoted due to poor play from the team’s alternative options at the position. The Bengals signed Mike Gesicki in the offseason, and Gesicki figures to beat out Hudson for opportunities in passing situations, while Drew Sample’s a better blocker than either of them. He was one of four tight ends that the Bengals made active Sunday and finished well behind Drew Sample (26 snaps), Erick All (23 snaps) and Mike Gesicki (19 snaps) in terms of playing time.
