A converted defensive lineman, Matlock did his best Patrick Ricard impersonation for Greg Roman's offensive scheme last year, compiling 352 offensive snaps. That didn't result in a ton of counting stats for the second-year pro however, as the fullback caught just four passes. Expect Matlock to once again absorb a number of snaps primarily as a blocker.
