Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Ebukam projects to be fully healthy for Week 1 after a torn Achilles sidelined him for the entire 2024 season. If he's able to log a successful recovery without sacrificing any of his prior explosiveness, Ebukam could emerge as a true threat within Indianapolis' pass-rush rotation, with all of Kwity Payem DeForest Buckner, Laiatu Latu and JT Tuimoloau also placing pressure on opposing offenses. The 9.5 sacks Ebukam tallied in 2023 would have led the Colts in 2024, but there's no guarantee he'll be immediately back to full form coming off such a serious injury. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Records sack in season opener
Ebukam had 1.0 sack and three total QB hits in Sunday's win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
It was a strong debut after recording a career-high 9.5 sacks last season. Ebukam played on 18 of the defense's 47 snaps. He looked at full speed despite nursing a back issue during the preseason. He'll get significant snaps as part of the rotation at defensive end.

Should be ready for camp
Ebukam is expected to be recovered from his torn Achilles in time for training camp, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.
ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old edge rusher missed all of 2024 due to the injury, but Ebukam is on track to be healthy for Week 1 this season. He recorded career highs with 57 tackles, including 9.5 sacks, over 17 regular-season games in 2023, and he'll have plenty of incentive to try and match those numbers as he heads into the final year of his current contract in 2025.
