2024 Fantasy Outlook
Madubuike's career had been building towards his breakout in 2023, but few could have expected the type of season he had. From the defensive end spot in Baltimore's 3-4 defense, Madubuike racked up 13.0 sacks and two forced fumbles over 726 snaps while adding 38 tackles. It may be difficult to replicate that type of production again - Madubuike had 8.5 career sacks going into 2023 - but he's also entering his prime at age 26. His role and functions should largely remain the same under new defensive coordinator, Zach Orr. Read Past Outlooks
Earns Pro Bowl nod in 2024
Madubuike played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 43 tackles (21 solo), including 6.5 sacks, one pass defense and one forced fumble.
ANALYSIS
Madubuike earned a four-year, $98 million contract extension in March of 2024 after earning second-team All-Pro honors for his production during the 2023 regular season, during which he logged a career-high 13.5 sacks across 17 games. Madubuike's stat output was down across the board for the 2024 campaign, but he played well enough to be named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster along with eight other Ravens players. Madubuike and Broderick Washington project to be Baltimore's starting defensive ends for the 2025 campaign.

2023
2021
It's a contract year for Madbuike, a 2020 third-rounder who came into his own last season. Madbuike appeared in every game and notched career highs in tackles (42) and sacks (5.5) while also deflecting three passes. With Calais Campbell gone, it will be on Madbuike to hold down the left side of the defensive line. For fantasy purposes, Madbuike offers some sack upside and consistent tackle production for his position.

Likely to get franchise tag
The Ravens are likely to place the franchise tag on Madubuike this offseason, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Madubuike emerged as one of the league's better interior pass rushers this season, racking up 13 total sacks. The team has tried to retain him on a long-term deal with no success, so they may instead turn to a shorter -- but costlier -- option. If tagged, Madubuike would be in line to earn roughly $19 million while almost certainly hitting free agency next offseason.
