Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Folk turns 40 in November but has thus far shown no signs of slippage, recording four straight seasons with a FG conversion rate of 86.5 percent or better, including a league-high 96.7 percent last year. While the efficiency was nice, Folk was tied for 10th in FGAs (30) and 22nd in PATs (30), allowing 19 kickers to outscore him in fantasy. He's back with the Titans in 2023 and could benefit from improvements to the offensive line and WR group, though the bigger factor will be QB Will Levis' development (or lack thereof). While never known for leg strength, Folk converted 14 of his 19 tries from 50-plus yards the past three seasons, so the low-50s kicks at least remain an option for Tennessee. Read Past Outlooks
Perfect on three kicks
Folk made both of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Folk opened and closed the scoring with field goals of 30 and 43 yards. He's now converted multiple-field goal attempts in three games this season, with two of those instances coming in the last three weeks. While Folk has enjoyed a very accurate season, the poor state of the Tennessee offense has limited his opportunity.

The 38-year-old Folk enjoyed arguably the best stretch of his lengthy career the last four years in New England, converting 89.3 percent of field-goal attempts and 91.3 percent of PATs. He even hit nine kicks from 50-plus yards the last two seasons after never making more than three from that range in a year. Furthermore, he finished top 5 in total field-goal makes the last two years, despite being a subpar offense. Or, maybe that helped, as the Patriots mostly remained competitive due to a mix of defense and special teams. Regardless, the team apparently wasn't too impressed, using a 2023 fourth-round pick on Maryland kicker Chad Ryland, who has a stronger leg and may soon displace Folk.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set to hit free agency
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Saturday that Folk, who spent the 2023 season with the Titans, is expected to test free agency.
ANALYSIS
Folk was traded by the Patriots to the Titans in August of 2023. He finished last year converting 29 of 30 field-goal attempts and 28 of 30 extra-point tries, and he has hit on at least 90 percent of his field goals in three of the last four seasons. Folk will turn 39 during the 2024 season, but he has demonstrated a reliable leg and should generate plenty of interest during free agency.
