2025 Fantasy Outlook
Visions of Jamal Adams are illustrated when Seattle's brass spoke about Emmanwori's role in the defense, as he can line up at safety, nickelback and in the box if needed. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive back ran a 4.38 second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, and the tape shows fluid hips and a keen eye for the ball. With extreme hype in tow, Emmanwori has plenty to prove, but he may not garner a full-time role in the defense immediately because safeties Coby Bryant and Julian Love remain in the fold. Lining up all over formation
Emmanwori is practicing at safety, nickel corner and outside linebacker, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Head coach Mike Macdonald compared Emmanwori to Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton and Seahawks legend Kam Chancellor on draft night, and the drumbeat continues in training camp with the 220-pound safety showing an ability to line up all across the formation, even taking a few snaps at inside linebacker. The rookie second-round pick is living up to the hype with multiple interceptions and disruptive plays in the backfield during team drills this week. If it translates to real games, this Seahawks defense could be a force this season with a secondary that already features Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen in addition to a bevy of productive pass rushers. Our first chance to see him in live action is Thursday's preseason game versus the Raiders.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Jeremiah's top remaining player
Emmanwori, a talented safety from South Carolina, is deemed as the best remaining player on the board ahead of the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft by Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Jeremiah notes Emmanwori has "ideal instincts and ball skills" and assesses his ideal NFL fit could be as a strong safety, big nickel back or as a sub linebacker because of his ability to undercut routes and get his hands on the ball. Jeremiah adds Emmanwori isn't as suited for a role in the deep half of the field, but he sees the former South Carolina star as an impactful player if he's consistently played close to the line of scrimmage.
