2025 Fantasy Outlook
Parsons entered training camp patiently waiting for Jerry Jones to finally sit down and hammer out a massive contract extension, but there's some question that he'll be on the field Week 1 considering he has yet to practice and the two sides haven't made inroads on negotiations. The 26-year-old is arguably the most dangerous quarterback hunter in the league, recording at least 12.0 sacks in all four of his NFL seasons. Parsons will face a bit of a headwind from his new scheme, as defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus hasn't generally overseen dominant pass rushes, but Parsons' elite athleticism and talent are more than enough for him to make an impact in any defense. Huge output on Thanksgiving Day
Parsons logged eight tackles (four solo), including 2.5 sacks, three total tackles for a loss and four total QB hits during the Packers' 31-24 win over the Lions on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
It was another big day for Parsons, who has logged at least 1.5 sacks for a third straight game and the fourth time this season. His first takedown of Jared Goff came in the first quarter in combination with Kingsley Enagbare, resulting in a six-yard loss. Parsons added two solo sacks on Goff in the fourth quarter, both resulting in eight-yard losses as the All-Pro pass rusher's efforts helped limit the Lions' offensive output in the second half. Parsons is now up to 12.5 sacks through 12 regular-season games, and he is close to matching his career-high output as a member of the Cowboys during the 2023 campaign (14.0 sacks across 17 regular-season games). Next up for Parsons and the Packers is another NFC North clash in Week 14 against the Bears on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Parsons set a new career high with 14.0 sacks last year, but he's been arguably the most consistent pass rusher in the NFL since being drafted 12th overall in 2021, producing 13.0 sacks as a rookie and 13.5 in 2022. Former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn lined him up all over the field looking for mismatches, but it's not yet clear how new DC Mike Zimmer plans to deploy Parsons, or whether the scheme change will have an impact on his numbers. The 25-year-old edge rusher's elite athleticism should allow him to thrive no matter how he's used, however.
