The Patriots selected Milton in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and while the Tennessee is no immediate threat to the depth chart standing of either veteran Jacoby Brissett or fellow rookie Drake Maye, the 6-5, 246-pounder is an intriguing developmental QB thanks to his impressive arm strength.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Standing out in minicamp
In Thursday's mailbag, Saad Yousef of The Athletic relays that Milton's ability to throw on the run could lead to a bigger role for the second-year quarterback in 2025.
ANALYSIS
Milton spent most of the 2024 season as New England's QB3 behind Drake Maye and Jacoby Brissett, but he drew the start in Week 18 against the Bills. Milton put together a standout performance, completing 75.9 percent of his passes for 241 yards, one touchdowns and no picks while adding a rushing score. He was traded to the Cowboys in early April and is the clear backup to Dak Prescott. However, Yousef believes that Milton would put himself in position to develop into something more for the Cowboys down the road with a strong performance in training camp and the preseason.
