Devine Ozigbo

Ozigbo joined the Jaguars after being let go by the Saints at roster cutdowns, and the UDFA played only six offensive snaps in 2019 prior to the season finale, when Leonard Fournette was sidelined. He had nine rushes for 27 yards and caught three passes for 23 yards in that contest, splitting work with Ryquell Armstead. The season finale could be a sign of things to come, as the Jags waived Fournette at the end of August, leaving Armstead, Ozigbo, Chris Thompson and James Robinson as the candidates for backfield work. Thompson figures to handle passing downs, but Ozigbo could push Armstead for the lead ballcarrier role.

Ozigbo (undisclosed) was a big-time producer during his senior campaign at Nebraska in amassing 12 touchdowns and nearly 1,300 offensive yards, but went unselected in April's draft. He finds himself competing for a depth role in the running back rotation behind Leonard Fournette and Ryquell Armstead.
