2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Flott started 10 of the 14 games in which he appeared last year and racked up a career-high seven pass defenses, including one interception, and 53 tackles. However, the 2022 third-round pick isn't guaranteed a starting role in 2025 after the Giants signed Paulson Adebo in free agency. Flott and Deonte Banks figure to compete for the second starting cornerback role opposite Adebo throughout training camp. Read Past Outlooks
Doesn't practice Saturday
Flott did not participate in Saturday's training camp practice due to an undisclosed injury, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The type and severity of Flott's injury isn't clear, but it has kept him out of practice for the past two days. Reps with the first-team defense are important for Flott, who is competing against Deonte Banks and Paulson Adebo for the starting outside corner job. Flott will look to get back on the practice field and be available for the Giants' preseason opener against the Bills on Saturday, Aug. 9.

2023
Flott grew into a larger role in 2023, his second NFL campaign, and appears set to move into a starting position at cornerback opposite Deonte Banks in 2024. While Flott played largely in the slot in his first two NFL seasons, he could thrive with the move to the outside, as it could play up to his speed and agility while reducing his need to work as a run defender, which has so far been a weakness. Flott is still relatively unproven, however, so he could be on a short leash if he struggles early.
