Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
A veteran addition at corner, Awuzie comes to Baltimore with eight NFL seasons worth of experience under his belt. He has been limited to eight games in two of the last three seasons, but his coverage numbers have remained solid of late. Outside of his tough final season in Cincinnati in 2023, Awuzie has held quarterbacks targeting him to a completion rate under 50 percent in three of his last four years. He can play the slot or the boundary and will be a solid reserve option to rotate in behind Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey, and the newly-signed Jaire Alexander. Read Past Outlooks

Doesn't practice again
Awuzie (hamstring) did not participate in Thursday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Awuzie has missed the first two practices of the week due to a hamstring injury that he may have sustained during the Ravens' 37-20 loss to the Chiefs in Week 4. He'll have to practice in a least a limited fashion Friday to have a chance at playing against the Texans in Sunday's home tilt. With Awuzie, Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Nate Wiggins (elbow) all working through injuries, the Ravens may have to turn to some combination of Jaire Alexander, T.J. Tampa and Keyon Martin to fill the void at outside and slot corner.

The Titans have struggled to get consistent cornerback play across the last few seasons, but they invested heavily at the position this offseason. Awuzie was one such signing, as he landed a three-year, $36 million deal from the team. One immediate challenge will be his ability to stay on the field, as he's failed to play a full slate of games since the 2019 season. His play also took a downturn in 2023, though his track record suggests that he has a strong chance to bounce back in 2024. At the very least, he should be on the field plenty with the chance to rack up tackles, pass breakups and interceptions.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be headed for IR
Awuzie might be placed on injured reserve after suffering a groin injury in Week 3, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran cornerback played only 16 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Packers before exiting. Titans coach Brian Callahan indicated Monday that IR was "definitely a possibility" for Awuzie, who is expected to miss multiple weeks. With the team's bye coming in Week 5, however, Tennessee may be able to avoid placing him on IR, a move which would guarantee he misses at least four games. Rookie Jarvis Brownlee figures to step into the starting lineup in Awuzie's place.
