Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Patriots signed Davis to a three-year deal worth $18 million per season with incentives that can push it to $20 million per year, setting the stage for the 2018 second-rounder to fortify the team's cornerback room while starting opposite rising star Christian Gonzalez. Injuries have been a concern for the 28-year-old, but when he's healthy Davis - who put up 56 tackles and two picks in 13 regular-season games with the Lions in 2024 - offers good ability in coverage and is a strong tackler. Back in action
Davis (toe) has returned to Sunday night's contest versus Los Angeles, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Davis was briefly sidelined with a toe injury that he suffered in the first half, but he has since returned to the field. The cornerback is starting opposite of Christian Gonzalez, looking to quiet the Chargers' passing attack.

Davis was traded to Detroit this offseason after spending the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Buccaneers. The 27-year-old is coming off of a 2023 campaign in which he recorded 52 tackles, nine pass deflections and two interceptions over 12 games with Tampa Bay, and he'll provide the Lions with an established option as the top cornerback in their secondary. Considering the expectations for Detroit this season, Davis could be set for some additional turnover opportunities as the Lions carry leads late into contests.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Possible target for Jagaurs
Jacksonville is a potential landing spot for Davis in free agency, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
The Jaguars aren't expected to be huge spenders in free agency but need to improve their secondary. Signing Davis could fit the bill, as he probably won't command as much money as D.J. Reed, Charvarius Ward or Byron Murphy on the open market. Davis didn't return for the Lions after fracturing his jaw in Week 15, but the injury is unlikely to affect the market for the 28-year-old cornerback in the offseason.
