2024 Fantasy Outlook
The 2022 fourth-round pick out of Missouri saw a major uptick in work from his rookie year, starting all 15 of the games he appeared in for Minnesota and playing almost 700 more snaps than in 2022. Evans definitely struggled at times, even getting benched during a Week 16 loss to the Lions, but the 24-year-old still graded out slightly above average. He'll compete for the No. 3 or No. 4 cornerback role in camp. Read Past Outlooks

Evans (hip) was a full practice participant Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Evans has missed the Vikings' last three games due to a hip issue, but his ability to practice in full Thursday indicates he should be able to return against the Jaguars on Sunday. Evans has mostly played on special teams and has registered two tackles (one solo) across six regular-season games.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is cleared from the final injury report and may get the 16 yards he needs to reach 1,000, but he's unlikely to play the entire game Week 18.
CeeDee Lamb could have one of his biggest games playing against a Lions defense that's tougher against the run than the pass.
If New England prioritizes defending Travis Kelce then the Pats might not have leftover personnel to cover Rashee Rice.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Evans played in 10 games during his rookie campaign and started two of them. He managed to tally 23 tackles (19 solo), two passes defended and one forced fumble in those games. The second-year pro projects to play a similar role as a rotational corner in 2023.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Likely to play less in 2024
Alec Lewis of The Athletic expects Evans to have a smaller role in 2024.
ANALYSIS
Minnesota brought in veteran cornerback Shaquill Griffin this offseason, while 2023 third-round draft pick Mekhi Blackmon has outplayed Evans in minicamp and OTAs. With holdover Byron Murphy also demanding significant playing time at cornerback, Evans could find himself relegated to a bench role in 2024 after starting 15 games in 2023. Evans failed to stand out as a starter, notching 65 tackles and seven passes defensed but also struggling in coverage at times and getting benched in Week 16.
