Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers Prop Plays
*Best lines at time of writing listed
The Los Angeles Rams travel across the country to battle the Carolina Panthers at 1 p.m. ET, and the game can be viewed or streamed on FOX.
The Panthers have had a lot of trouble stopping the run this season, and they've allowed 14 touchdowns on the ground this season. Carolina has also allowed 4.3 yards per carry, and seven rush plays of 20 or more yards.
For the Rams, RB Kyren Williams has scored six rushing touchdowns, with nine total scores across 11 games. He didn't score in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football, which is a rarity. Since the start of the 2023 season, Williams has 32 rushing touchdowns and 40 total scores across 39 games, so just averages alone make an Anytime TD Scorer play a slam dunk.
Williams went for just 46 yards on 12 totes against the Bucs, but prior to that, he had managed 73+ rushing yards in each of his previous three games. We're going to bank on the bounce back for Williams in Charlotte.
Best Prop Pick: Rams RB Kyren Williams - Anytime TD Scorer (-130 FanDuel)
Best Prop Pick: Rams RB Kyren Williams Over 65.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel)
San Francisco 49ers at Cleveland Browns Prop Plays
The Cleveland Browns host the San Francisco 49ers at 1 p.m. ET (CBS), and this is one of the weather trouble spots.
Snow showers are forecast to change over to rain around 6 a.m., and then it should taper off around 9 a.m. However, the big story here is the wind. We had a Lake Erie seiche Wednesday, pulling trillions of gallons of water from west to east, exposing the lakebed near Toledo and points west. That's a powerful wind, and the west-southwest winds continue at 25-27 MPH in Cleveland on Sunday. As such, you can expect the passing and kicking games for both the 49ers and Browns to be severely impacted.
We're going to bank on a mostly ground-based attack for both sides. QB Brock Purdy has struggled with mistakes in his return, including a three first-half picks last week against the Panthers on Monday Night Football. He also has 200 or fewer passng yards in his two games since returning. He's going Under again, too.
Facing the Browns rush defense is no easy task. While RB Christian McCaffrey has a ton of scrimmage yards this season, CMC has averaged a modest 3.7 yards per carry (YPC) on 217 totes. Still, he has 81 or more rushing yards in three of the past four games, and at least 40 receiving yards in every game this season. McCaffrey is a good bet to eclipse 110 total scrimmage yards, as he'll be huge for Purdy dumping it off on short to intermediate routes, combatting the raging winds.
Best Prop Pick: 49ers QB Brock Purdy Under 202.5 Passing Yards (-114 FanDuel)
Best Prop Pick: 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey Over 110.5 Rush+Rec Yds (-114 FanDuel)
Denver Broncos at Washington Commanders Prop Plays
*Best lines at time of writing listed
On Sunday Night Football, the Denver Broncos also make the cross-country trip to the nation's capital. Well, Maryland, to be exact.
The Commanders allow an NFL-worst 8.9 yards per passing attempt The next closest team, the Cincinnati Bengals, are at 7.9 yards per pass attempt. Washington has just been absolutely awful when trying to defend the pass, allowing 22 passing touchdowns and 38 pass plays of 20+ yards, with 10 pass plays of 40+ yards.
We're going to go with Bo Nix to go Over his passing total, and he has really jelled nicely with Troy Franklin, who has seemingly emerged as the No. 1 wideout ahead of Courtland Sutton.
Let's also roll the dice on rookie Pat Bryant to go for at least 23 yards. He went for 82 yards on five grabs against the Kansas City Chiefs in a showdown game last week, and he has 40+ yards in three of the past four games. Against an awful Washington pass D, look for the rookie to do it again.
Best Prop Pick: Broncos QB Bo Nix Over 226.5 Passing Yards (-114 FanDuel)
Best Prop Pick: Broncos WR Troy Franklin Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)
Best Prop Pick: Broncos WR Pat Bryant Over 22.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel)
