It wasn't a great week for the staff, least of all me. Erickson and Stopa won the week at 9-7, but Pianowski still leads insurmountably by a game.

This week we have three unanimous picks: the Jaguars, Colts and Seahawks. The Colts are also Stopa's best bet, and both DDD and I mentioned them in the comments.

Unanimous/Majority Picks

We have three unanimous picks this week, the Jaguars, Colts and Seahawks. We went 0-2 last week on unanimous picks to put us at 2-3 on the year. We went 8-8 on majority picks (three or more writers) to put us at 16-15-1 on the year. We went 20-15-1 on unanimous picks and 146-116-5 (including playoffs) on majority picks last season.

Erickson I hate the decision to move from JFF to Josh McCown, but regardless the Browns are a much stronger team than the Raiders, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Derek Carr looked competent last week, but he'll get exposed on the road... Jaguars get a garbage-time touchdown to cover against the Pats. I loved Carolina at -3.5, still will take them at 6 because Brees playing might be worse for the Saints, given his shoulder, lack of weapons and previous road woes.
PianowskiAnother card I can't stand. If John Harbaugh is the coach I think he is, he'll have Baltimore ready for this life-or-death game against Cincinnati (yes, this should have happened last week, but the stakes are higher now. You can shoot holes in my mumbo jumbo if you want to.)... It's absurd the Browns are going back to Josh McCown. Talk about having no clue how to build and evaluate a franchise.
LissI have three best bets this week, the Cardinals, Colts and Eagles. The Cardinals seem like a top-five team with Carson Palmer healthy, and the 49ers could be a doormat. Indy has to be a public team this week, but beating up on Tennessee isn't that tall an order. I also like the Eagles as a buy-low. I have no idea what happened to them in Dallas.
StopaThe Colts struggle against teams that punch them in the face. That's not Tennessee. I expect a big Luck rebound... The Redskins might be better than the Giants on a neutral field, the public just doesn't realize it yet... Buffalo is better than Miami and shouldn't be getting the full three.
Del Don Maybe Atlanta is the sucker side, but they look improved this year, and obviously the Cowboys are devastated by injuries... My other best bets are the Colts and the Cardinals... I had the hardest time with the San Diego/Minnesota, Miami/Buffalo and Kansas City/Green Bay games.
