Week 11 doesn't exactly begin with a stellar matchup when the Patriots host the Jets on Thursday. The Patriots are one of the best teams in the league at 8-2, while the Jets are just 2-7. Luckily, we can spice up this game with the Thursday Night Football DFS slate. Let's dig into each position for the single-game contests on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Quarterback

One of the main reasons for the Patriots success is the emergence of Drake Maye ($12,000 DK, $13,800 FD), who has already surpassed his rookie totals with 2,555 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns. He was done so while cutting down on turnovers, throwing just five interceptions. Coming into this matchup, he has finished with multiple touchdowns in five straight games. With the Jets having traded away two of their best defenders in Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, Thursday night DFS lineups should be built around Maye.

While Maye has been fantastic, Justin Fields ($9,400 DK, $12,400 FD) has been a disaster for the Jets, throwing for fewer than 55 yards in three of his last four games and totaling just six passing touchdowns for the entire season. Known for his rushing prowess, he hasn't topped 31 rushing yards in a game since Week 4. Meanwhile, the Patriots have given up the fewest rushing yards per game in the league.

Running Back

With the Patriots defending the run so well, Breece Hall ($10,200 DK, $11,800 FD) could be in for a long evening. However, in what was a rough matchup against the Browns last week, Hall turned 21 carries into 83 yards and also had a 42-yard touchdown reception. The latter stat is important because, as good as the Patriots have been against the run, they have given up the most receptions to running backs in the league. Hall is adept at catching passes out of the backfield, so he still comes into the night as an appealing lineup option.

Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) will miss his third straight game, paving the way for TreVeyon Henderson ($10,600 DK, $11,400 FD) to receive additional carries. He certainly made an impact the last two games, rushing 28 times for 202 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons and Buccaneers. Terrell Jennings $3,600 DK, $3,800 FD) is listed as questionable with a knee injury, but it's difficult to have much confidence in him after he received just four carries last week. That came on the heels of rushing 11 times for 35 yards and a touchdown in Week 9.

Wide Receiver/Tight End

Already thin at wide receiver, the Jets will play at least the next three games without Garrett Wilson (knee). The recently acquired Adonai Mitchell ($3,000 DK, $4,200 FD) didn't play last week against the Browns, but he might be forced to take the field in this game. Arian Smith ($1,600 DK, $3,000 FD) has received one or no targets in all but three games this season, so he's difficult to justify taking a chance on. Maybe the most appealing Jets wide receiver is Tyler Johnson ($3,400 DK, $5,600 FD); he failed to catch his only target last week, but before that he caught six of eight targets for 124 yards and one touchdown in the prior two games.

The Patriots will also be shorthanded at wide receiver with Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) ruled out for the second straight week. Stefon Diggs ($9,800 DK, $10,200 FD) was targeted eight times in Week 10, finishing with five receptions for 46 yards and one touchdown. Although Diggs hasn't been racking up receiving yards, he does have a touchdown in three straight games. Now that Gardner is gone, Diggs might not be met with much resistance by the Jets' secondary. DeMario Douglas ($6,200 DK, $4,800 FD) and Kyle Williams ($2,000 DK, $5,200 FD) are also viable dart throws; Douglas had 100 receiving yards two weeks ago against the Falcons, while Williams had a 72-yard touchdown with Boutte out last week.

This could also be a matchup to consider taking a chance on Hunter Henry ($5,400 DK, $8,200 FD). The Jets have given up seven touchdowns to tight ends, which is tied for the second-most in the NFL, while Henry has four touchdowns and nine red-zone targets this year. He could also see addition snaps with Austin Hooper (concussion) out. Jets tight end Mason Taylor ($4,000 DK, $7,400 FD) might also be worth targeting. While he couldn't get anything going against the Browns, he had posted at least five receptions in three of his previous five games. The Patriots are tied for the fifth-most receptions allowed to tight ends in the league.

Kicker

Nick Folk ($4,600 DK, $6,000 FD) is a perfect 19-for-19 on his field goal attempts this season, including all five of his attempts from at least 50 yards. Dating back to the start of the 2023 season, Folk is 16-for-17 on kicks of at least 50 yards.

Andy Borregales ($5,000 DK, $6,800 FD) has only attempted 14 field goals during his rookie campaign and has made 13. The Patriots have been scoring a lot of touchdowns, which has resulted in Borregales going 28 of 30 on PATs.

Defense/Special Teams

In their first game without Gardner and Williams, the Jets ($3,200 DK, $6,200 FD) allowed 20 points to a Browns team that is averaging the fourth-fewest points per game in the league. The Jets are also the only team in the NFL that does not have an interception this season. The Patriots ($6,600 DK, $7,000 FD) have allowed just 19.2 points per game behind their stellar run defense, and they have allowed 13 or fewer points in two of their last three home games.
