RHP Shih Tzu-Chien (3-2, 6.60 ERA) vs RHP Chiang Kuo-Hao (2-2, 5.40 ERA)
Game Preview
The Lions are coming off a 12-3 win in Wednesday's matchup and while they remain dead last in the standings – six games under .500 – they seem to be trending in the right direction of late with two wins in their last three contests. The Guardians, on the other hand, have dropped two of their last three. They'll try to turn things around by sending Chiang Kuo-Hao to the mound, who's been quite good lately, winning both of his last two starts and recording a quality start in both. His previous outing was a dominant relief effort, as he pitched 2.1 scoreless innings against the Brothers last week. The Lions will counter with Shih Tzu-Chien, who has allowed 12 earned runs in eight innings over his last two starts.

Top picks:
Dai Pei-Feng, Guardians: Catcher tends to be one of the weakest offensive positions in baseball, but the Guardians are well-covered at the plate every time Dai Pei-Feng is at the dish. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored Wednesday, and that lifted his average to a solid .314 mark.
Chiang Kuo-Hao, Guardians: Chiang has been nothing short of excellent lately. He pitched back-to-back quality starts in his last two starts and then tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief against the Brothers last week.
Wu Chieh-Jui, Lions: Wu went 4-for-5 with two RBI during Wednesday's win and while he has played just eight games this season, he's made his presence felt whenever he's in the lineup. He's hitting an impressive .355 with a stellar .459 on-base percentage.
Hu Chin-Lung, Guardians: Hu has worked as the Guardians' table-setter during most of the season and is hitting .320 after a 1-for-5 outing Wednesday. He complements that with a strong .393 on-base percentage.
