Uni Lions (13-21) at Chinatrust Brothers (17-15)
Saturday, June 6, 5:05 AM EDT
Projected Starters
RHP Josh Roenicke (0-2, 8.85 ERA) vs RHP Mitch Lively (2-0, 6.00 ERA)
Game Preview
After winning Friday's series opener, the Brothers have now been victorious in three straight and sit just three games back of the league-leading Monkeys. Meanwhile, the Lions are stuck on the bottom of the standings after losing seven of their last 10 games. The visitors will send Josh Roenicke to the mound as they look to get back into the win column. He'll need to be far better than he's been through five appearances this season, as he's allowed 20 earned runs in 20.1 innings of work while striking out just 10 batters. His numbers from previous seasons do at least offer some reason for optimism, as he posted ERAs of 3.17 and 3.50 in his first two years in Taiwan. The Brothers will turn to fellow American righty Mitch Lively, who hasn't been much more successful in his three outings so far this year, allowing eight earned runs in 12 innings of work. Like Roenicke, however, he was far better in his first two years in the league, recording ERAs of 4.05 and 3.23.

Top Picks
Mitch Lively, Brothers: Lively and Josh Roenicke have similarly strong track records and share similar struggles this season. Lively gets the nod here due to the fact that his Brothers have been outplaying the Lions of late.
Chang Chih-Hao, Brothers: Chang's three-hit day Friday was part of a strong stretch for the cleanup hitter, which has seen him grab at least one hit in 16 of his last 17 games. He's now hitting .353 this season while homering nine times.
Wang Wei-Chen, Brothers: The Brothers' leadoff man stole his eighth base of the year Friday, placing him third in the league in that category. He's set the table quite well this season thanks to his .369 batting average, which has helped him score 32 runs in 32 games.
Chen Chieh-Hsien, Lions: Chen makes for a solid captain choice for those siding with the Lions in this one. He's hitting an excellent .392 while stealing six bases and scoring 30 runs.
