Gleason stepped up in the 2024 season as the starter for the Rockets and ended up being one of the top quarterbacks in the MAC conference. The 6-foot-3 quarterback threw for 2,793 yards, 24 touchdowns and just eight interceptions, landing second in touchdown passes and fourth in passing yards within the conference. Although he'll lose wide receiver Jerjuan Newton and tight end Anthony Torres, who both moved on to the NFL, top pass catcher Junior Vandeross will return for his senior season, along with many new faces to fill out the Rockets' offense. Gleason and Vandeross already developed a dynamic connection last year, so the pair should be destined for some great things once again. Huge showing over Huskies
Gleason was 25-for-31 passing for 309 yards and two touchdowns during Wednesday's 42-3 win over Northern Illinois. He also had two rushes for nine yards with one touchdown.

The starting quarterback could have done even more, but he was pulled late in the game when it got out of hand. Gleason has been on a tear as of late, throwing for 1,342 yards with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions in his last five games.
