Leads Broncos to 3-1 start
Madsen completed 12 of 21 passes for 184 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 45-24 victory over Washington State. He also had three rushes for 20 yards.
ANALYSIS
Madsen hasn't been the flashiest quarterback in the country, throwing for less than 200 yards in each of his last three starts while Boise State continues to lean on Ashton Jeanty and their rushing attack. Still, the sophomore quarterback has been solid, completing 58.2 percent of his passes for 800 yards with seven touchdowns and just two interceptions through four games. Madsen and the Broncos appear to be in the driver's seat in the Mountain West as they head into their conference opener against Utah State.
