McRee (knee) has avoided a season-ending injury, but will remain sidelined for multiple weeks, Kendell Hollowell of Sports Illustrated reports.
ANALYSIS
McRee was on the receiving end of a low hit during the third quarter of last week's narrow loss to Michigan, exiting the contest against the Wolverines. The Trojans' worst fears have luckily been avoided as the redshirt junior tight end is expected to return at some point later this season. McRee tallied 12 receptions for 134 yards across USC's first three games, and in his absence Kade Eldridge and Walker Lyons should see more work in the USC's passing attack.
