2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sayin was a five-star recruit out of high school and is the clear frontrunner at the QB slot for Ohio State. Many believe that Sayin in a full-time role is a moderate upgrade over Will Howard, who struggled at times despite leading the Buckeyes to a CFP title. At the very least, there will be little to no dropoff at the position, with the 6-3 sophomore at the helm. He excelled as a legitimate dual threat in high school, displaying a quick release and elite accuracy. Although he will make moves with his feet, he could finish the year as one of the most productive passers in the Big Ten with targets like Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate and Max Klare at his disposal. Sayin has 30-touchdown potential if he stays healthy. Read Past Outlooks

Named starter in Columbus
Sayin has been named Ohio State's starter for the 2025 season, per Spencer Holbrook of On3.com.
ANALYSIS
Head coach Ryan Day let this position battle go down to the wire, with the Buckeyes' opener against Texas on August 30 just under two weeks out. The competition was between Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz, who were neck and neck for much of spring and fall camp. Sayin, however, reportedly took a slight lead towards the end of fall camp, and now he'll officially be the starting gunslinger for the defending national champions. The sophomore played in four games last fall, tossing for 84 yards and a touchdown while completing 5 of 12 passes and picking up 24 rushing yards. The Buckeyes' offense is once again stacked, especially at receiver, and Sayin figures to reap the benefits of what should be another explosive unit.
