2025 Pass/Rush Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
King returns for his third year at Georgia Tech, having firmly established himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the ACC. Last season, his passing numbers declined significantly, but his efficiency and ability to take care of the football increased dramatically as well. He also missed some time and dealt with arm injuries that hindered his ability to throw the rock. Under offensive coordinator Buster Falkner, a run-heavy play-caller who uses King's legs to the fullest extent, the quarterback accounted for 2,114 yards, 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions through the air while also notching 587 yards and 11 scores on the ground. He also completed nearly 73 percent of his passes. With the Yellow Jackets returning the same staff that's allowed King to thrive as a premier dual-threat quarterback, in addition to starting tailback Jamal Haynes (944 yards, 5.6 yards-per-carry last season), King should once again be an efficient dual-threat gunslinger. He may not light up the stat sheet each and every Saturday, but his legs stress defenses - and allow him to score fantasy points - in many ways, and his passing stats should return to an extent if he can stay healthy. Surgical in win over Temple
King completed 13 of 18 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 45-24 victory versus Temple. He also had eight rushes for 15 yards with one touchdown.
ANALYSIS
King only accounted for 176 total yards, but he scored three times and completed over 72 percent of his passes. This was the first game King played in 2025 in which he didn't top 100 yards rushing, but the Yellow Jackets hardly needed him to in a relatively easy win over Temple. King will look to keep Georgia Tech's dream season rolling on the road against Wake Forest in Week 5.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2023
2022
King had a breakout year in 2023 with the Yellow Jackets after three quiet seasons at Texas A&M. The quarterback threw for 2,842 yards, 27 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while completing 61.6 percent of his passes. He was also Georgia Tech's second-leading rusher, tacking on 737 yards and 10 scores on the ground. King could stand to cut down on the turnovers and improve his accuracy numbers a bit, and he'll run it back with second-year offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner who helped orchestrate his breakout year. His top two receivers, Eric Singleton Jr. and Malik Rutherford, return, as does starting halfback Jamal Haynes. Ultimately, this offense should take another step forward with the returning production and scheme, and King figures to reap the rewards of that in his fifth-year senior season.
