Amador missed most of last season due to injury, essentially playing in just UTSA's last four games. In those four games, he posted 30 catches for 370 yards and a touchdown. Amador had at least seven catches in every game, and he went over 100 yards once in that span. So yeah, once he got healthy, Amador was driving the UTSA passing game. He's a versatile player who moves around the field a lot, including some rushing upside. Owen McCown will be the Roadrunners' starting quarterback again. Clearly, he liked throwing the ball to Amador last year when he was on the field. Nobody significant joined the wide receiver depth chart this offseason, and this figures to be one of the most explosive offenses in FBS. It's unlikely that Amador averages seven catches per game in 2025, but he's shown what he can do when healthy, and McCown made getting him the ball a priority down the stretch. Throws and catches a touchdown
Amador tallied 10 receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns, and completed one of one passes for 21 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 48-26 win over Tulane.
				  ANALYSIS
Amador did everything for the Roadrunners' Thursday night, hauling in his first two touchdowns of the season while also throwing one. It was the sophomore's first touchdown pass of his career on his second-ever pass attempt. His 113 receiving yards are also a season-high, and the first time he has surpassed 50 yards all year.
