2024 Fantasy Outlook
Brown is a dynamic, dual-threat quarterback that led the Bulls in both passing and rushing last season. As a sophomore in 2023, Brown broke out with 3,292 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 64.6 percent of his passes. He added 809 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground as well. Offensive coordinator Joel Gordon, who is now entering his second year in Tampa, is clearly not shy about trying to squeeze as much of Brown's playmaking ability out of him as possible. With three of his top four receivers from last season returning, Brown should continue to thrive as a mobile gunslinger for the Bulls. Read Past Outlooks
Not starting Friday
Brown (foot) will not start in Friday's game against FAU, national college football writer Brett McMurphy reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who has been sidelined since Week 5 with a foot injury, will not start in Friday's matchup with the Owls. The 6-foot-3 junior quarterback will yet again give way to junior quarterback Bryce Archie, as Brown is seemingly still recovering. Even when healthy, Brown's starting job is reportedly in question.
