Josh Johnson News: Taking starter reps in warmups

Johnson was seen taking reps with the starters in warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Bucknell, according to Brent Briggeman of The Colorado Springs Gazette.

Johnson has been in an ongoing battle with Liam Szarka for the starting role under center, but based on recent developments, the former seems in a good position to get the nod. Johnson appeared in five games for Air Force in 2024, completing only 42.9 percent of his throws for 126 yards and a 1:3 TD:INT.
