Dante Moore News: In lead for starting QB job

Moore is seen having a significant lead for the starting quarterback job, but head coach Dan Lanning may not declare a starter until shortly before Oregon's first game on Aug. 30, the Portland Oregonian reports. "I think it's starting to shape out a little bit for us," offensive coordinator Will Stein said. "We'll see here in the next week or so where we're going to go."

Moore is battling Austin Novosad for the starting quarterback job. Both quarterbacks are said to have played well in training camp but Moore has been in the "driver's seat for some time" for the starting job, according to the Oregonian.
