2024 Projections
Back for one last run
Reese will return to the Terrapins for their 2024-25 season, per his announcement Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Many redshirt juniors and true seniors have entered the NCAA's transfer portal in search of better opportunities, but there may not be a better scenario out there for Reese. Maryland's 2023-24 season included him logging career highs in points (13.7), rebounds (9.5) and blocks (1.9). Even if the Terps add players to make up for their loss of redshirt senior Jahmir Young, who averaged 20.4 points during his 2023-24 season, Reese is expected to take at least a bit more control of their offense. He has been the Terrapins' second-best scorer in back-to-back seasons now.
