Tonje previously announced his committment to play for New Mexico next season but has allegedly accepted an offer to play for the Badgers instead. The former Colorado State transfer will join the Badgers following a single season with Missouri. Tonje played in just eight games for the Tigers this past season before receiving a medical waiver to retain his final year of eligibility. The six-foot-six guard averaged 14.6 points per game in his final season with Colorado State in 2022.
