Moving on to Arkansas
Wagner announced Sunday that he has committed to Arkansas, joining the program as a transfer from Kentucky, Travis Branham of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
At Arkansas, Wagner will rejoin head coach John Calipari, who was previously on the bench during the 6-foot-4 guard's lone season in Lexington. Though he arrived at Kentucky as a consensus five-star recruit, Wagner endured a disappointing freshman campaign in which he averaged 9.9 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 25.8 minutes while shooting 40.5 percent from the field over 29 appearances. He should be locked into a starting role out of the Arkansas backcourt as a sophomore.
