The Lakers could target Missi with their first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, according to Ian Begley of SNY.tv.

The Lakers are entertaining the idea of selecting a center with the 17th pick in the draft to give Anthony Davis more opportunities to play his natural power forward position in the 2024-25 season. Missi is one of the options they could be targeting, most notably due to his size and untapped defensive potential. In his lone season at Baylor, Missi put up 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in only 23 minutes per game while shooting 61.4 percent from the floor.
