Jamal Murray Injury: Not playing Friday

Murray (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Jazz.

Murray was viewed as a game-time call leading up to the opening tip, but the Nuggets will err on the side of caution and hold him out. After Friday, the Nuggets will have three straight days off, which could prove to be enough time for Murray to move past the issue ahead of Tuesday's contest versus the Timberwolves. With Murray sidelined against the Jazz, Russell Westbrook could enter the starting five at point guard and see a dramatic increase in playing time.
