Cameron Payne Injury: Won't return Wednesday
Payne has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Clippers due to a right ankle sprain.
Payne sustained the ankle injury during the first quarter and attempted to play through the injury. However, Tyler Kolek replaced Payne on the top unit coming out of halftime before the Knicks announced Payne would be shut down for the rest of the day. The Knicks will return to action Wednesday versus the Clippers, and if Payne, Miles McBride (groin) and Jalen Brunson (ankle) are all out for that contest, New York will have to rely on Kolek and Delon Wright to fill minutes at point guard.
