Magic Come Through To Defeat Pistons
The Orlando Magic defeated the Detroit Pistons, 112-109, at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday.

The Magic (32-25) enjoyed a strong start and defeated a struggling Pistons (8-48) team on the road. However, it must be noted the Pistons fought hard in the second half, and they could have completed the comeback had they had a few more minutes left. Orlando looked good early on and jumped to a 32-30 lead in the first quarter, and the Magic made it a double-digit game after a 33-25 second quarter. However, the Pistons woke up in the second half, and they responded with a 30-25 score in the third quarter to make the contest a closed affair. The Pistons kept it going and tied the game down the stretch when Cade Cunningham made a driving layup with 12.1 seconds left. However, the Magic relied on their All-Star player to deliver down the stretch, and Paolo Banchero stepped up, draining an 18-foot jumper with an and-one to give Orlando a huge win on the road. With the win, the Magic moved to 14-17 on the road, while the Pistons fell to 4-24 at home.
