Rockets Dominate Kings In Houston
The Houston Rockets defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 122-97, at Toyota Center on Monday evening.

The Rockets jumped out to a hot start with a, 32-22, lead after one quarter. The Kings could not find their footing and were outscored by another 15 points in the second, making it a 25-point deficit heading into the break. The Rockets kept the momentum going in the third and outscored the visitors, 30-18, in the frame to make it a 37-point difference heading into the final quarter. The Kings put up a fight but were not able to climb all the way back, resulting in their third straight loss.

Jalen Green led the Rockets with 23 points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block, in 26 minutes. Alperen Sengun followed up with 17 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists and a steal, while Fred VanVleet logged 11 points, four rebounds and five assists. The Rockets shot 57.3 percent from the field, including 15-for-31 from long range.

Meanwhile, Keon Ellis was the high-point man for the Kings, with 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting, in 14 minutes off the bench. Kevin Huerter totaled 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Keegan Murray added 12 points, five rebounds and a steal. The Kings shot 44.4 percent from the field, including 14-for-40 from deep.

The Kings (2-4) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Trail Blazers on Monday. The Rockets (3-3) play host to the Lakers on Wednesday.
