Pelicans Take Over In New York
The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the host New York Knicks, 115-92, at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday evening.

The Pelicans jumped out to a strong start and led, 26-19, after one quarter. The Knicks brought a better effort in the second and managed to cut it to a one-point game at the break. The visitors reclaimed control in the third and outscored the Knicks, 26-20, to take a seven-point lead into the final frame. The Pelicans turned it up a notch in the fourth and poured in 41 points in the quarter to lock in the road win and end a two-game skid.

Trey Murphy led the Pelicans with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal, in 36 minutes. Brandon Ingram followed up with 24 points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocks, while Zion Williamson totaled 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks.

Meanwhile, Donte DiVincenzo led the Knicks with 23 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, in 37 minutes. Bojan Bogdanovic followed up with 20 points, four rebounds, five assists and a steal, while Precious Achiuwa logged 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block.

The Knicks (35-24) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Warriors on Thursday. The Pelicans (35-24) take on the Pacers in Indiana on Wednesday.
