Hawks Defeat Magic in Mexico City, 120-119
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Orlando Magic, 120-119, at CDMX Arena in Mexico City on Thursday.

There were nine ties and 11 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 11 points. Orlando led this game 111-100 with eight minutes remaining, but Atlanta closed the game on a 20-8 run to prevail. Paolo Banchero missed a game-winning three with just 7.8 seconds remaining. The Hawks shot 48 percent from the field, 39 percent from three-point range and 77 percent from the free-throw line, while the Magic shot 47 percent from the field, 37 percent from long range and 71 percent from the charity stripe. Atlanta also out-assisted Orlando, 22-19.

The Hawks (5-3) were led by Trae Young, tallying 41 points, five rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Jalen Johnson amassed 19 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Dejounte Murray finished with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Bogdan Bogdanovic led the bench with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

The Magic (4-4) were led by Jalen Suggs, collecting 21 points, three rebounds and seven steals. Paolo Banchero provided 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Markelle Fultz amassed 13 points and three assists, while Franz Wagner had 12 points, six rebounds and three assists. Mo Wagner led the bench with 13 points and seven boards.

Both teams return to action on Saturday, with Atlanta returning home to play the Miami Heat and Orlando returning home to face the Milwaukee Bucks.
