Kings Finish Strong In Denver
The Sacramento Kings defeated the host Denver Nuggets, 102-98, at Ball Arena on Wednesday evening.

The Nuggets got out to a strong start and led, 27-16, after one quarter. The Kings improved their play in the second but still saw the deficit grow to 12 points by halftime. The Nuggets stayed in front to start the third and held a 14-point lead mid way through the quarter, but the Kings mounted a, 20-9, run to cut it down to a three-point game heading into the final quarter. The Kings kept the momentum going in the fourth and eventually took control in crunch time, closing out the road win and ending a two-game slide. This also marks the third straight loss for the Nuggets.

De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 30 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals, in 43 minutes. Domantas Sabonis totaled 20 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals, while Harrison Barnes added 20 points, five rebounds and a block.

Meanwhile, Aaron Gordon led the Nuggets with 25 points, 15 rebounds and two assists, in 33 minutes. Michael Porter followed up with 19 points, four rebounds and two assists, while Nikola Jokic tallied 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists and a block.

The Nuggets (36-19) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Wizards in their first game back from the all-star break. The Kings (31-23) play host to the Spurs in their first game back from the break.
