Bulls Hold On, Secure Win Over Raptors
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Toronto Raptors, 116-110, at Scotiabank Arena on Thursday.

The Bulls (20-23) enjoyed a strong start but nearly suffered an upset against the Raptors (16-26) on the road. Chicago grabbed a double-digit lead in the first quarter, but Toronto came close to completing a comeback in the fourth quarter, although they ultimately fell short. The Bulls finished the initial 12 minutes up by a 38-27 score in the first quarter, but Toronto responded with a 31-25 score in the second quarter. The Raptors kept the momentum going and outscored Chicago by 28-27, making it a four-point game with just 12 minutes left. Despite Toronto’s attempts to complete the comeback, the Bulls closed things out and won the final quarter by a 26-24 score. With the win, the Bulls moved to 7-13 on the road. Meanwhile, the Raptors fell to 10.11 at home.

Six Chicago players scored in double digits in this one. DeMar DeRozan led the way with 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Nikola Vucevic finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds. He also added seven assists and two steals. Coby White finished with 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Alex Caruso finished with 10 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks. Patrick Williams had 12 points off the bench.

Scottie Barnes ended with 31 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocks for the Raptors. RJ Barrett ended with 17 points, six assists and four rebounds. Immanuel Quickley had 12 points, three rebounds and three assists. Bruce Brown made his Toronto debut and delivered 15 points with seven boards off the bench.
