Lakers Outlast Grizzlies in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, 117-111, in Game 4 of the Western Conference First-Round Playoffs at Crypto.com Arena on Monday.

The Grizzlies jumped out to a 6-0 start, but the Lakers rallied to claim a 29-23 lead after one quarter. The hosts kept the momentum going and pushed it to a 14-point game mid way through the second, before the Grizzlies fought back to cut it a two-point deficit by halftime. Both sides kept up the effort in the third and the score stayed close as the Grizzlies grabbed a two-point edge heading into the fourth. Neither side could break away in the fourth, but LeBron James came up clutch with a last-second bucket to force overtime. The Lakers took control in the extra frame and outscored the visitors 13-7 in the final five minutes to secure the home win and take a 3-1 series lead.

Austin Reaves led the Lakers with 23 points, four rebounds, six assists and a steal, in 42 minutes. LeBron James followed up with 22 points, 20 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks, while D'Angelo Russell added 17 points and three assists. The Lakers shot 43.6 percent from the field, including 10-of-36 from long range.

Meanwhile, Demond Bane led the Grizzlies with 36 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 47 minutes. Ja Morant followed up with 19 points, four rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block, while Jaren Jackson totaled 14 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks. The Grizzlies shot 39.6 percent from the field, including 9-of-42 from deep.

Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in Memphis.
