Mavericks Defeat Kings, 122-114
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the host Sacramento Kings, 122-114, at Golden 1 Center on Friday.

Dallas got out to a 45-25 lead after the first quarter, winning this game in wire-to-wire fashion. They actually held a double-digit lead for the majority of the final three quarters, with Sacramento never getting within a six-point margin after the opening six minutes. The Mavericks shot 18-of-43 from three-point range while the Kings connected on just 9-of-27. In addition, Dallas recorded 34 assists to nine turnovers, while Sacramento had 21 assists to 14 turnovers. The Mavericks bench also outscored the Kings bench, 43-24.

The Mavericks (31-26) were led by Kyrie Irving, collecting 25 points, three rebounds and 10 assists. Josh Green generated 17 points, four rebounds and seven assists. Tim Hardaway Jr had 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Reggie Bullock totaled 13 points, five rebounds and two assists, while Christian Wood led the bench with 13 points, three rebounds and two assists.

The Kings (31-24) were led by De'Aaron Fox, finishing with 33 points, six rebounds and five assists on 10-of-16 from the field. Domantas Sabonis tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Keegan Murray amassed 16 points, three rebounds and two blocks, while Kevin Huerter accrued 15 points and five boards.

These teams will have a rare back-to-back rematch on Saturday for their next outing.
