Kings Defeat Lakers, 116-111
The Sacramento Kings defeated the host Los Angeles Lakers, 116-117, at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday.

While Los Angeles kicked things off with a 39-28 first quarter, Sacramento outscored LA 33-21 in the second quarter and 29-22 in the third quarter. That was too much for the Lakers to overcome, with the Kings getting their lead up to 14 points at times in the second half. With that said, there were 13 lead changes in total. Sacramento out-rebounded Los Angeles, 55-45, while doubling them up in second-chance points, 20-10.

The Kings (25-18) were led by De'Aaron Fox, finishing with 31 points, three rebounds and six assists. Harrison Barnes had 20 points, six rebounds and two assists. Kevin Huerter compiled 18 points, three rebounds, eight assists and two steals, while Richaun Holmes registered 16 points and 11 rebounds in a rare start. Keegan Murray also had 10 points and 10 boards.

The Lakers (20-25) were led by LeBron James, collecting 32 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. He was the only starter in double figures. Russell Westbrook led the bench with 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Kendrick Nunn dropped 14 points, while Max Christie totaled 12 points, three rebounds and two steals.

Both teams return to action on Friday, with Sacramento returning home to play the Oklahoma City Thunder and LA remaining home to face the Memphis Grizzlies.
