76ers Top Rockets, 123-104
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Houston Rockets, 123-104, at Wells Fargo Center on Monday night.

The 76ers (37-19) encountered a feisty Rockets (13-44) early, as Philadelphia was only able to forge a three-point lead through one and held a modest seven-point advantage by halftime. However, the home squad was able to keep adding to its edge throughout the second half, leading to the 19-point victory. The Sixers shot 56.1 percent, including 44.1 percent from three-point range.

Jalen Green led the Rockets with 29 points, adding four assists, three rebounds and two steals. Kenyon Martin Jr. furnished 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. Alperen Sengun delivered 12 points, eight boards, one assist and two steals. Jabari Smith generated a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double that included two assists.

James Harden paced the 76ers with a 28-point, 10-assist double-double that included two rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Tyrese Maxey toppled 26 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals. Joel Embiid supplied 23 points, six boards, four assists and one steal. Tobias Harris registered 11 points, six rebounds, two steals and one block.

The Rockets remain on the road and visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night, while the 76ers remain home and host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
