Mavs Stun Jazz In Utah
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the host Utah Jazz, 124-111, at Vivint Arena on Monday evening.

The Jazz jumped out to a great start with a, 37-25, lead after one quarter, but the visitors turned up their play in the second and rallied to cut it to a two-point game by halftime. The Mavs kept the momentum going in the third and held on to a four-point lead heading into the final frame. The Jazz could not keep up through the fourth and fell short for a second straight loss.

Josh Green tallied 29 points, six rebounds and two assists, and Jaden Hardy tallied 29 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals to lead the way for the Mavericks. Dwight Powell added 12 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and a block, while Tim Hardaway tallied 17 points, three rebounds and two assists. The Mavs shot 46.6 percent from the field, including 15-of-39 from long range.

Meanwhile, Jordan Clarkson led the Jazz with 26 points, four rebounds and two assists, in 32 minutes. Lauri Markkanen followed up with 19 points, seven rebounds, two steals and a block, while Mike Conley totaled 10 points and 11 assists. The Jazz shot 47.1 percent from the field, including 6-of-31 from deep.

The Jazz (27-28) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Timberwolves on Wednesday. The Mavericks (29-26) take on the Clippers in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
