Pacers Top Hawks, 129-114
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 129-114, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.

The Pacers (18-17) came into the contest fresh off a disappointing 20-point road loss to a short-handed Pelicans team 24 hours earlier, but the first half served as an indication Indiana had come out refocused. The hosts owned a 10-point lead over the Hawks (17-17) by halftime thanks to 64 points in the first 24 minutes, and they stood their ground in the third by matching Atlanta bucket for bucket. The Pacers then turned it up a notch in the final period, keeping the visitors at bay with a 33-point haul.

John Collins led the Hawks with a 26-point, 10-rebound double-double that included one block. Trae Young tallied 22 points, 10 assists, three rebounds and one block. Bogdan Bogdanovic provided 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Dejounte Murray supplied 14 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.

Buddy Hield paced the Pacers with 28 points, complementing them with nine rebounds and two assists. Tyrese Haliburton recorded 23 points, seven assists, three rebounds and one steal. Myles Turner and Bennedict Mathurin generated matching 18-point efforts while adding six rebounds and three assists, respectively. Oshae Brissett finished with 16 points, five rebounds and one assist.

The Hawks return home to host the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night, while the Pacers host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
