Lakers Rally Back To Stun Mavs
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the host Dallas Mavericks, 111-108, at American Airlines Center on Sunday.

The Mavs jumped out to a strong start and led, 28-16, after one quarter. The Lakers picked up the pace in the second, but the hosts kept up and maintained a 14-point lead at the break. The visitors kept pressing in the third and managed to trim it down to a three-point game heading into the final quarter. Both sides fought hard down the stretch, but the Lakers came up clutch in the end to earn their third straight win.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 30 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a steal, in 37 minutes. LeBron James followed up with 26 points, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block, while Jarred Vanderbilt totaled 15 points, 17 rebounds and four steals. The Lakers shot 43.3 percent from the field, including 6-of-34 from long range.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 26 points, nine rebounds, five assists and a steal, in 36 minutes. Kyrie Irving followed up with 21 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, while Tim Hardaway added 17 points, four rebounds, two assists and a block. The Mavs shot 41.9 percent from the field, including 20-of-49 from deep.

The Mavericks (32-30) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Pacers on Tuesday. The Lakers (29-32) take on the Grizzlies in Memphis on Tuesday.
