Cory Joseph, TOR vs CLE ($3,300) – If you're looking to punt point guard completely tonight, this guy and the next are in play. Kyle Lowry is a game-time decision and if he's not able to go, Joseph and Mills are no-brainer plays which will allow guys like Lebron James and James Harden into the lineup. In relief of Lowry the other night, Joseph finished with 32.7 fantasy points in only 25 minutes. Even if Lowry is a go, there's a good chance Joseph plays at least 25 minutes again with Lowry being less than 100 percent.
Patty Mills, SA at HOU ($3,800) – The loss of Tony Parker will put a much greater share of the point guard duty on Mills, who was the value of the night Wednesday after Parker left. Patrick Beverley isn't a great matchup, but playing in a more uptempo game and an increased user rate will easily negate that. At this price, he should be a staple in all cash game lineups.
Lou Williams, HOU vs SA ($4,900) – Williams is coming off a terrible game where he scored only two fantasy points, meaning his ownership should be low. While San Antonio is a better defensive team than Oklahoma City, it's worth noting Williams scored at least 27.2 fantasy points in the last four games of the series with the Thunder.
Jonathon Simmons, SA at HOU ($1,700) – This pick is all about his price, as Simmons has tallied 15.5 and 12.5 fantasy points during the two games of this series. While those are modest totals, that means Simmons scored 9.1X and 7.3X value while he played 20 and 21 minutes. Those minutes seem pretty secure, and if Kawhi Leonard plays a little point guard, Simmons could benefit from the Tony Parker injury.
Serge Ibaka, TOR vs CLE ($6,100) – Outside of one dud, Ibaka has been very consistent in the playoffs, scoring anywhere from 24 to 40.8 fantasy points in the other six games. With Lowry banged up, the Raptors may lean on him more heavily on the offensive end, pushing his shot attempts up. Kevin Love has never been known as an elite defender and home court advantage should help Ibaka.
Kevin Love, CLE at TOR ($7,500) – This price seems too cheap for Love, who played only 21 minutes in Wednesday's blowout, scoring only 16.9 fantasy points. In Game 1, Love had a monster game against the Raptors, finishing with 35.3 fantasy points. Tonight's game north of the border should be more competitive, meaning Love should easily surpass 30 minutes on the floor.
Pau Gasol, SA at HOU ($4,900) – Gasol got the start last game and turned 29 minutes into 36.1 fantasy points. He only scored six points, but made up the rest of his production with rebounds and blocks. Provided he gets the start again (as he likely will with the Spurs winning Game 2), Gasol is worth consideration for cash or GPPs.
Tristan Thompson, CLE at TOR ($5,700) – Clint Capela is certainly in play, although it's notable that he was held to 26.6 fantasy points against Gasol last game. Like Love, Thompson's minutes were cut a little short last game due to the blowout. Playing a full complement of minutes in Game 1, Thompson had 34.8 fantasy points and his Game 2 showing (24.8 fantasy points in 29 minutes) was still respectable.
