Best NBA Bets Today
Coby White over 20.5 points (-120) at Portland Trail Blazers
BetMGM, 3:50 PM CT
Alex Barutha: This will be White's second game back from injury. He looked good in his first outing, posting 27 points on 28 combined field goal and free throw attempts. The Trail Blazers will be notably missing Jrue Holiday and his excellent backcourt defense, so I have some faith that White can take advantage. Plus, over Portland's past 10 games, they're allowing the third-most opponent points per 48 minutes (124.3).
Toronto Raptors to cover -2 points (-110) at Philadelphia 76ers
Bet365, 3:55 PM CT
Alex Barutha: These teams played a little more than two weeks ago, with the 76ers winning by 10 at home and covering a -5.5 spread. I usually like to bet on the team that came up short in the rematch, which is made easier here for a couple reasons. First, the 76ers will be down Joel Embiid, Paul George, Kelly Oubre and Adem Bona, while the Raptors' core is entirely healthy. In addition, Toronto has been hot lately. They're 5-1 over the past two weeks and have been covering games by an average of +5.7 points during this span -- the fourth-best mark.
Jalen Brunson over 26.5 points (-107)
DraftKings Sportsbook - 4:00 pm CT
Kirien Sprecher: Brunson hasn't been officially cleared to play tonight, but he was active during shootaround and appears to be trending in the right direction. Before his two-game absence, Brunson scored 30+ points in two straight games. I expect him to have extra motivation against his former team, the Mavericks, who've nearly hit rock bottom and are contemplating trading Anthony Davis away this season. Brunson has scored 20+ points in nine of 11 appearances and and at least 29 points seven times.
